Secretary Emeritus

Nicholas L. Vosovic (Helen)

If you missed our February meeting, you missed a very outstanding meeting.  More than fifty brothers and guests attended and heard Brother Dr. Resa Farrokh present his research paper.  It covered the origin of Aryan Tribes, Mithraism school of thought to Freemasonry and the age of Freemasonry.

I want to congratulate our two newest brothers that were elected at the February meeting, Brothers Spencer Lower and William Bruge.

Special kudos to WB John Ruth for the outstanding dinner, which was beef tips over noodles.

Our next meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 23 at Aztlan Masonic Lodge, 1028 Willow Creek Rd. in Prescott.  Dinner will be served at 6:00 p.m. followed by our meeting.  Here is your chance to get out of the heat and visit Prescott.    We will have a great speaker with an interesting topic in Masonry.  The speaker will be Worshipful Brother Bruce Johnson.

We would like to have a great turnout at this meeting, so please invite any Master Masons you know to share fellowship with us at this meeting.  Let’s try to carpool and travel together.  Let John Ruth know if you can drive and he will try to fill the cars from those that contact him for a ride.  Wives and friends are welcome to attend this meeting.  It will be a great time to visit and shop in the Prescott area.

We are hoping one of you will start working on a research paper to present at our October meeting on October 27th at the Phoenix Masonic Temple.

I was told that Southern California Research Lodge would be interested in having a joint meeting with us this fall.  Think about it and we can discuss it at the June meeting.

We currently have a Web page under construction.  Sign on and let us know your suggestions.  www.arizonamasonry.org.  Click on Blue Lodges – Click on Arizona Research Lodge No.1.
